Professional Requirements As an independent rights holder, you can register your content in the Intellectual Property Networked Systems  Registry when: - You own or control the digital distribution rights to the sound recording, film, photograph, or software application you want to register with IPNS. Yes No Do you have the right to collect and pay 3rd party mechanical royalties for reproductions of the digital media you register with IPNS, and do you agree to pay all mechanical royalties for those songs,films,photos,and software? Yes No Have you assigned the distribution rights for your content to a third party (Aggregator, Label, Distributor,Studio,Etc)? Yes No Do you have a US Social Security Number or a US Tax Identification Number (US TIN)? Yes No
